Thursday Throwdown "The Nigga Epidemic"

This has probobly been the week from hell.... and it's only Thursday.

First things fucking last....I'm alot calmer than I've been in the last couple of days. With the officers of the law stopping me, and the dumb ass chick on the cell phone who sent me into a tailspin on the highway cause she couldn't see what she was doing, to the fool who stole my car while I was in the store, you can say that the kid done been through some shit. BUT, I got my baby back, I got off with a warning, and most importantly, I didn't end up a pingpong ball on Route 91, in other words....I'm alive, so fuck what happened, moving foward now.

I had an interesting convo with my other half last night, just one of those things we tend to do from time to time to keep each other on point. Anyway, we spoke on niggas and how they are about to become their own race considering that they are beginning to outnumber us "black folks" in record fashion. I honestly feel this way considering what we see each and everyday in our communities, in our malls, in the schools. The thing that kills me is that 'niggas' don't just come in brown, they are just as hispanic, and white, and asian, and so on and so forth. I work in a spot where there is nothing but cats there who won't hesitate to call the oddball the 'nigga' in the group. Hell, I've seen white people greet other white cats with the 'whassup nigga???' or the asian group who to this day will cuss each other out like 'nigga please, what you talking about?' The shit is an epidemic feel me? Back in the day it was all about black and white.....well today is a new day. WE ALL GOT NIGGA PROBLEMS, and even though some will still say that oh that's just a black thing, look around and listen. They are all around you.

There is no escape from this, like the Dawn of the Dead plot, imagine a world where everyone is fucked up in their own way, the only thing they see fit is that you are just as ignorant as they are, completely oblivious to common sense and any kind of order, only set to take from you and maybe even fuck something or somebody up in the process. Welcome to our world yall, this is it. I fear for the next couple of generations because they have to actually grow up in all this shit. It is THEM who I say will have it hard and when or if they get older I can and WILL understand.

So when I hear someone say nigga I don't even care anymore. I know they aren't talking to me, although I do have some nigga tendancies (actually negro but some of yall don't really know the difference) I don't carry myself as such. I just try to live my life in the best way possible.

It's just hard though with all these damn niggas running around...
